Hashem cherishes the good you wish for someone else!
Hi friends!
Hashem cherishes the good you wish for someone else!
In this week's parsha, Hashem tells Avraham:
“וַאֲבָרְכָה מְבָרְכֶיךָ”
“I will bless those who bless you.”
Rebbe Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev notices the order: first, “I will bless”; then, “those who bless you.” He explains that when someone sincerely wants to bless Avraham, Hashem blesses that person immediately, just as if they had already given the bracha. Their good intention is already a reason for Hashem to bless them!
The person who wants to give a blessing receives Hashem's blessing first!
There is such chizuk here for creating your desired reality: in this teaching, Hashem responds to the sincere desire to give a blessing before the person has expressed it in words!
Think of someone you want to see happy, supported, and loved. That caring desire is precious to Hashem. You can turn an ordinary moment of thinking about someone into a heartfelt bracha for them!
Here are three brachot you can give someone today, aloud or in a quiet prayer for them:
1. For someone facing a difficulty: “May Hashem give you strength and show you a good way forward!”
2. For someone worried about livelihood: “May Hashem bless you with abundant parnassah and peace of mind!”
3. For someone longing for love and connection, choose either blessing:
“May Hashem bring you love, loving relationships, and true friendship. May you feel loved and understood!”
Or: “May you feel how deeply Hashem loves and understands you, and enjoy feeling your connection with Hashem more deeply!”
Choose someone you care about. Let yourself really want that goodness for them, and give that wish words. Hashem cherishes the kindness in your heart!
Leave a ❤️ if someone came to mind whom you'd like to bless today!
